Quilting sisters

Here is our latest quilting project. Rhonda's mother-in-law needed a quilt retied. It was a lot of fun. And it sure helped Lillian.

I have been quilting since high school. Now, whenever we have a quilting need, my sisters come over and we quilt together.

Pajama Church

We love General Conference! This weekend we sat around the house and watched church on TV. All of the talks were good, and some were excellent! I think my favorite of all was President Eyring. He talked about unity and being a peacemaker, especially during those times when a conversation can go good or bad. We need to step up and Do What Jesus Would Do. President Monson spoke on receiving Jesus Christ into our lives and keeping His commandments. Here's an example of how He stands at the door and knocks. We just have to let Him in.

Cruising Alaska

We started out in Seattle. We took the Duck Tour.

Here's our ship!

Glacier Bay National Park. You gotta cruise cuz you gotta see it.

Juneau is Alaska's capital, but you can't drive there. You can only get to Juneau by boat or airplane.

The salmon bake was a highlight.

Ketchikan is a must-see fishing village + totems.

We spent an evening in Victoria, Canada.

And then back to Seattle. We had to see the Space Needle.

Pike's Market is a must-see highlight.

This is our 5th cruise to Alaska. It was just as good as the first. Join us next time.
